A complete guide to a more pleasurable and empowered birth experience.
We are told that birth is painful, scary and hard. What if birth could be pleasurable, empowering and full of love? Birth isn’t something that just happens to you, it’s a right of passage that’s shaping your journey into parenthood. Contrary to what some may say, you are not just a passive passenger along for the ride. To have a birth that feels present and connected, while reducing your risk of birth trauma, you need the tools to stay rooted and connected to your body and baby during birth. Birth is wildly unpredictable, and knowing your options allows you to navigate the unexpected with grace and confidence. Allowing you to set aside fear and focus on the dream birth you desire. In Embodied Birth you and your birth partner will learn and practice the skills to stay connected to your inner wisdom during birth. In this class we focus on how you want your birth to feel and how you can navigate the many directions birth may take with confidence, mindfulness and trust.
In this class you will learn through lecture, movement, meditation and connection with other expecting parents. Ella and Tara will guide you in preparing your mind, body and spirit for your birth experience. We will offer you somatic practices to connect your body to different stages of labor, teach you yoga flows to help prepare your body for labor and create comfort in pregnancy.
What you can expect:

Meet Dr. Tara
Dr. Tara Morrison is a mother, wife, creatrix, and medicine woman.
She is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Women’s Health & Intimacy Coach, and creator of Somatic Pelvic Care, her signature mind-body-spirit approach to serving women struggling with pelvic floor challenges so they can feel empowered in their birth experience, feel connected and confident in their bodies postpartum, and reignite intimacy both in and out the bedroom.
She has devoted her 13 year career to exploring “out of the box” solutions to healing physical pain, recognizing that most women’s health conditions and physical challenges have an unseen emotional or energetic root cause. After her own initiation into motherhood, she followed the inner call to start her own business, Inner Rhythm Wellness to support women more fully through this right of passage on a physical, emotional, and energetic level. Since then she has supported hundreds of women in attuning to their Inner Rhythm, becoming a more confident and connected mother, while healing their pelvic floors, and getting back to enjoying sex after baby.
